Speaker Profile

Renee Jaffe has served as Chief Executive Officer of the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County since 2016. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in nonprofit and public-sector early learning organizations, she is dedicated to expanding access to high-quality early childhood education and supporting children, families and educators throughout the community.

Before joining the Early Learning Coalition, Jaffe served as Associate Commissioner for Child Care Operations with the New York City Administration for Children’s Services, where she oversaw one of the nation’s largest child care systems. Throughout her career, she has focused on strengthening early learning programs and improving outcomes for young children and their families.

Jaffe is a passionate advocate for early childhood education and believes that strong partnerships and a positive organizational culture are essential to serving children effectively. Under her leadership, the Early Learning Coalition of Broward County has been recognized multiple times as a South Florida Top Workplace by the Sun Sentinel.

Jaffe earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a master’s degree in clinical social work from New York University. She lives in South Florida with her husband and two children.
