Speaker Profile

Mark D. Bogen serves as Mayor of Broward County and represents District 2, which includes Coconut Creek, Margate and portions of Pompano Beach, Deerfield Beach and Coral Springs. Throughout his tenure, he has championed initiatives that strengthen economic development, improve government services and address quality-of-life issues for Broward County residents.

Bogen has led efforts to advance policies affecting transportation, environmental concerns and economic investment, including expanding development opportunities throughout District 2 and implementing Broward County’s prepaid postage program for vote-by-mail ballots.

In addition to his public service, Bogen has practiced law for more than 30 years as managing partner of the Bogen Law Group, representing condominium and homeowner associations. His legal career has also included work in securities, consumer protection and antitrust litigation.

Bogen previously served as a Special Assistant to the State Attorney’s Office and as an adjunct professor of business law at Florida Atlantic University. He is the author of What Every Condo Owner Should Know: Florida Condo Law: Questions & Answers and is a frequent speaker on condominium law and community association governance.
