Angelica “Angie” Santibáñez leads community engagement for Amazon’s Public Policy team in Florida, where she develops community relations initiatives that strengthen partnerships, support business objectives and enhance the company’s impact across the state.
Before joining Amazon, Santibáñez spent more than a decade in the nonprofit and social impact sector before transitioning to corporate social responsibility and community development within the financial services industry. She is an active civic leader, serving on the boards of United Way Miami and the Live Like Bella Childhood Cancer Foundation, as well as the Orange Bowl Committee. She also serves on several advisory and public policy committees, including those of the Greater Miami Chamber of Commerce, United Way Miami and Leadership Florida.
Santibáñez has been recognized for her leadership with numerous honors, including the South Florida Business Journal 40 Under 40, the Athena Young Professional Award, Hispanic Women of Distinction and Miami-Dade Parks’ In the Company of Women Young Professional Award.
A Miami native, Santibáñez earned an Associate of Arts degree from Miami Dade College, a bachelor’s degree from The George Washington University and an MBA from Florida International University. The daughter of immigrants from Cuba and Venezuela, she is passionate about serving her community and values faith, family and civic leadership.
