Albert E. Dotson Jr. serves as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of Bilzin Sumberg, where he leads the firm’s strategic direction and operations while fostering a culture centered on collaboration, innovation and exceptional client service.

A nationally recognized attorney, Dotson focuses his practice on infrastructure development and public-private partnerships. His experience spans major projects involving transportation, airports, seaports, sports venues, utilities, health care, education, water and wastewater systems and other public infrastructure. He is also widely known for representing clients in complex government procurement matters, including bid protests and contract solicitations.

Beyond his legal practice, Dotson is actively engaged in advancing economic development throughout South Florida. In 2021, he was selected to serve as a member of Miami-Dade County’s CEO Ambassador Program, supporting Mayor Daniella Levine Cava’s RENEW305 initiative to encourage business investment and job creation across the region.
