Representative Chip LaMarca is a lifelong Broward County resident who represents Florida House District 100, serving the coastal communities of Broward County. He is recognized for his commitment to public service and advocacy on behalf of taxpayers, veterans, first responders, small businesses and the communities he serves.

After attending Boston University, Broward College and Florida Atlantic University, LaMarca built a career in the construction industry before founding LaMarca Construction in 2006, a company specializing in power generation. His business experience has informed his work on economic development and job creation throughout South Florida.

LaMarca began his public service on advisory boards in the City of Lighthouse Point before being elected to the City Commission in 2005. He later served two terms on the Broward County Commission, where he championed economic development, infrastructure and public safety initiatives before being elected to the Florida House of Representatives in 2018.

Throughout his career, LaMarca has served in leadership roles with numerous local, state and national organizations focused on economic development, fiscal policy, emergency services and community engagement. He has also been a strong advocate for first responders through his work with the nonprofit Thank You First Responder.
