Cindy Arenberg Seltzer has served as the inaugural President and Chief Executive Officer of the Children’s Services Council of Broward County since its creation in 2000. Under her leadership, the organization has expanded its impact by investing in evidence-based programs delivered through nearly 200 community partners, with a focus on improving outcomes for children and families while maintaining transparency and accountability to Broward County taxpayers.
Arenberg Seltzer brings a multidisciplinary background to her leadership, holding a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of California, Irvine, a Juris Doctor from Georgetown University Law Center and a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
She serves in leadership roles with numerous organizations dedicated to child well-being, education, behavioral health and public policy, helping strengthen collaboration across Broward County and throughout Florida to improve services for children and families.
Throughout her career, Arenberg Seltzer has received numerous honors for her leadership and community service, including induction into the Broward County Women’s Hall of Fame. She also hosts Future First: Focus on Broward’s Children, a public affairs program highlighting issues affecting children and families in Broward County.
