Juliet Murphy Roulhac serves as Director of External Affairs for Broward and Southwest Florida and Corporate Philanthropy for Florida Power & Light Company. In this role, she leads regional external affairs, government relations, community engagement and corporate giving strategies for Florida Power & Light and the NextEra Energy Foundation, building partnerships with community leaders, elected officials and nonprofit organizations throughout the region.

Before joining External Affairs, Roulhac practiced law in Florida Power & Light’s General Counsel’s Department. A licensed attorney with more than 25 years of experience, she has extensive expertise in complex business litigation and appellate law.

Roulhac is an active civic leader who serves in leadership roles with numerous nonprofit and community organizations, including the Community Foundation of Broward, the Prosperity Partnership, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Alliance Foundation and Friends of Manatee Lagoon. She has also held leadership positions with the Broward Workshop, the Greater Fort Lauderdale Chamber of Commerce and The Florida Bar.

She earned both her bachelor’s degree and Juris Doctor from the University of Florida, where she is a member of Florida Blue Key and previously served a five-year term on the university’s Board of Trustees as a gubernatorial appointee.
